In the Palace of the Twilight, Phantom Zant is guarding the two Sols that you need to progress in the dungeon. You have to fight him twice, so I included both battles.
Pretty easy. He warps around the room and summons enemies, so simply defeat the enemies and attack him while he's stationary. This becomes increasingly harder as you damage him, as he warps very quickly.

This is the battle the plays as soon as you hit new game, and you cannot win or do any damage to him. Also features a mystic arte at the end!

Emil is now able to reverse petrification using his sisters power, and he uses it to bring Kaine back to life and release her from the stone seal. The large shade Jack immediately breaks out of the basement as a result and attacks the party once again. He is easily defeated by the older, more experienced protagonist.")
