spoilers for the first map of Legacy of Rust, and that's not an exaggeration. if you intend to play it i recommend seeing it for yourself first because it's a really cool and unique bit of visual spectacle, and the fact that this is just the first damn map has me real excited to see what else they've got in here
i did *not* intend to rush to the exit like that because as you can see there's still secrets for me to find, but a Something stood up and made the decision for me unfortunately (i will go back a save :SelenPolite:)
as a side note, yeah, evidently it runs fine in zdoom with TC mods, at least the first map does lmao. it does apparently use a wacky new modding standard but from what i've read, only for cosmetic/decorative features and so hopefully the campaigns doesn't totally break for me at some point down the line... and if it does, hopefully gzdoom can update to support it sooner rather than later
