Lee Marlin Spike Loop - Another Secure Loop Knot?
I recently came across this loop knot on alanleeknots and he shows the actual loop being tested here: 🎬 youtu.be/iye0tGpG3q0 The knot when tied does look rather complicated because of all the crossing points, but in reality is rather simple to tie. The Lee Marlin Loop does obviously need more testing, but it seems to stand up quite well compared to other loop knots. It would be good to get some feed back from others who have put this knot through its paces. This loop starts of as a Marlin Spike Hitch and then with a couple more turns, it becomes a useful loop.
