How to Tie the Constrictor Knot #Shorts
If you are doing decorative knot work, then this is a really good knot to learn. So often you want to hold your work together at certain points, so this is where the constrictor knot comes into play. It can be pulled up nice and tight and does not slip. However, when it comes to undoing the constrictor knot, then that can be at times difficult. Quite often, when I do my decorative knot work, I tend to leave the constrictor knot in place and it ends up being covered with a decorative knot.
The constrictor knot can also be used when you want the rope to remain in place.
