What an exciting and snowy day here in Northern Michigan! Today was a huge milestone because I finally worked up the courage to go out on the snowmobile (or snow machine as we call them up here) for the very first time! We have been getting so much beautiful snow, and even though it was super windy and cold, the scenery in the woods was absolutely breathtaking. It was a short ride, but I am so proud that I finally did it!
Back at the house, we decided to get into the holiday spirit. I pulled out my collection of Hallmark ornaments, including some new Nightmare Before Christmas ones and the Up house, to finally get the Christmas tree decorated. It is always so much fun going through the memories attached to each ornament. Of course, Memphis, Kira, and Eleanor were very helpful supervisors during the process!
The dogs also had a blast running around in the fresh powder today. There is nothing quite like seeing Siberian Huskies in their natural element! After playing outside and packing up some orders for you guys, we ended the night with some cozy snuggles to stay warm. We are hoping the wind dies down soon so we can take the dogs on a fun adventure to see some waterfalls or lights!
