Today was such a festive and busy day for the pack! We started the morning with some very windy weather, and poor Eleanor was not having it. She gets a little anxious when the wind picks up, almost like how she reacts to fireworks, so she needed lots of extra love and reassurance from Mom today. While the girls stayed cozy and warm inside (and away from the crowds), we headed downtown to experience our city's annual Holiday Parade!
We haven't been to the parade in a few years, so it was amazing to see the community come together. It truly felt like a scene right out of a Hallmark movie! We saw marching bands, flying elves, festive floats, and of course, Santa Claus himself. We also checked out the beautiful town Christmas tree and the lights downtown. It was freezing cold, but totally worth it to get into the holiday spirit.
Also in this vlog, we show off the finished result of the 16th Anniversary cake we made for the dogs, and we have some exciting news about new holiday merch designs in the shop! Plus, the weather reports are calling for 4 to 8 inches of snow between tonight and tomorrow. Will we finally get a winter wonderland for the Huskies? You’ll have to watch to find out!
