Welcome back to another day with the Siberian Huskies! We are starting the morning a little differently today with a visit to the local animal shelter to check on some adorable kittens. It is so heartwarming to see how far these little ones have come, even if Memphis, Kira, and Eleanor might be a little jealous of the extra attention! Back at home, the Michigan winter is in full swing. The yard is a total ice rink, and watching the Snow Dogs navigate the slippery ground is always an adventure. We also had some incredible food truck pizza—you know it's the best in town when half of it disappears before we can even start filming!
Today’s vlog is also a bit of a cautionary tale for all the home cooks out there: always check your expiration dates! We had a major kitchen fail involving some very old cinnamon rolls that turned the house into a bit of a stinky situation. But don't worry, we turned things around by starting a batch of delicious peppermint chocolate cookies. While the dogs can't have chocolate, they certainly made sure to get their fair share of cheese as "payment" for being such good kitchen helpers.
We wrapped up the night by tuning into a special holiday live stream featuring some familiar faces, including the kids and even the Snow Dogs team! Between the high winds outside and the late-night baking inside, it has been a whirlwind of a day. It just goes to show that even when plans change, life is about making memories with your dogs. Whether we are dodging ice patches or finishing up holiday treats at midnight, there is never a dull moment with three Huskies!
