After several people mentioned cooking the leaves from my broccoli, I decided it was time to learn how to do it. I found a recipe right here.. cubemarketplace.com/blog/2011/04/01/how-to-cook-broccoli-or-cauliflower-leaves I modified it a little bit, cutting back on the garlic and added some hot pepper. I made plenty of mistakes, used the wrong pan, had the heat too high, should have used tongs instead of a heat resistant spatula, etc. In spite of all that, the broccoli leaves were quite good. And if I could get them to taste halfway decent, I'm sure you could do much, MUCH better !
