It's time to pull up the beets and carrots, and see how well things turned out. What I had here was Chioggia Beets, Danvers Carrots, and Red Atomic Carrots. Despite the fact that I didn't do a good job of thinning them out, I think everything turned out pretty good. After getting things cleaned up, I planted some melons. Charentais, a French melon smaller than a cantelope. And I planted some Jubilee watermelons from seed that I saved last year.
