Congratulations, you’ve got your Gimbal! But what’s next?

Alex Enock talks about the “ninja walk,” a technique every videographer needs to know! As you may see expert videographers do, they like to walk a certain way when filming. So, how does one do this ninja walk?

Alex says to keep your knees bent at a nice obtuse angle and walk with your heels gently hitting the ground first. Afterwards, keep your arm at a comfortable bent angle. The more relaxed you are, the better! Being stiff will only make you more prone to unsteadiness due to being tired.

If you’re filming in the backward direction, walk with your toes hitting the ground first. If you can, grab a buddy who can help guide you where to walk when you’re walking backwards, so you don’t bump into any guests or clients!
