ABOUT
I know how much you enjoy learning Russian with music and in this lesson, we’ll break down a legendary Russian song, Katyusha. During WWII, Russian people went crazy for this song. Katyusha is a diminutive of the female name Katya or Ekaterina. The song is about a girl longing for her lover who joins the army and is sent to a distant outpost.

We’ll go through every single line of the song, you'll see the lyrics in English and Russian, and I'll slowly pronounce each line in Russian a couple of times. If you want to download the transcript, the link is in the description.  If you have suggestions on which song I should use next for my lessons, leave a comment below.

If you liked learning Russian with music, there is a good chance you will also like my series "Learn Russian with Movies."
