At 0:01 in the video I play a classic Lloyd Green piece. I recommend that every steel player learn to do this and incorporate it into your music (if it's your style). To each his own, but I really like this sound. You simply pick string 4 on fret 9 and then pick string 2 while sliding up one fret to 10; then press pedal A as you slide up to the 12th fret on string 5. The idea is to play the same note 3 times. If you study the guitar, you can play about a dozen unison notes on a really long run all the way up the neck. It's cool.

I'm simply using the AB pedal after on fret 9, letting off A and then sliding down to fret 7 while pressing A, then slide down to fret 6 on strings 4 and 5 with the F knee engaged to raise strings 4 a half tone.
