Lean fuelling, as it relates to chainsaws, is the state in which there is not enough fuel in relation to the air present in the air-fuel mixture that is fed to the engine. Kirkman, A City and Guilds qualified repair engineer with a BSc Hons degree in Science and a Post Graduate Certificate, unveiled his innovative carburetor model to the public through his YouTube channel, aptly named 'The Repair Specialist', in 2016.
