This is the only episode not to be included in the 8-volume VHS collection released by AB/TF1 Video during the 90s. According to the episode listing by AB Productions, this episode is listed after "The Exhibition" (the last episode presented on volume 1) and before "Ermintrude's Dance" (the first episode presented on volume 2). The order of a few episodes included on volume 1 is scattered, with "Les scaphandriers" being included instead of this one for some reason. However, the 5-volume VHS collection by Une Video in 1998 (basically a re-release of episodes from volumes 2 and 3, with select episodes from volumes 1 and 4) follows the correct episode listing order, with this one being included on the 2nd volume.

Thats right, another discovery uncovered! Turns out there was another series of book-and-CD read-alongs put out in Japan in 1998, and this Read-Along (with the 1990 cover and film stills) was once of them ;)
The downside was that the CDs (and books) didnt include their This is the story of... intros with the narrator mentioning the turn-the-page signals; the story immediately begins. Thankfully, I managed to use the intro to this video from an HQ cassette rip.
So now, both cassette Read-Alongs of Alice are properly preserved in the highest quality possible :)

This is also one of the few episodes of series 2 to be adapted to comic-book form for the magazine series Le Journal de Pollux (given how a select number of episodes from that season were broadcast during the 1970s, while the rest were broadcast and redubbed by AB Productions later in 1990), whereas the magazine series usually features stories from series 3 (and some from the black-and-white series 1).

I personally grew up with this Disney cassette, along with Snow White (1990/92 Mary DArcy version), Jungle Book (Bob Machray version from the 90s), and Alice in Wonderland (1999 version with Roy Dotrice).
