On this second episode we will see the schematic diagram of the altitude board which permits to give a measurement of a variation of altitude around a hold altitude. A servo control is used to track the altitude. A relay permits to open the servo control loop, therefore the feedback value from the servo control remains constant. The output of the first error amplifier gives a measurement of the altitude variation. Measurements shows a variation of +/- 10V for a static pressure variation of +/- 4 mbars for an absolute static pressure of 850 mbars.
