An estimated 13,000 Flock license plate reading cameras are operating across Texas and anyone who pays for car insurance in the state has helped fund them.

While reporter Ayden Runnels was waiting for comment from the governor’s office on the matter, Gov. Greg Abbott ordered state agencies to stop spending state money on flock cameras.
