Lava Beds National Monument in northern California is a vast volcanic landscape where ancient lava flows carved out miles of underground tunnels. In this short, we explore the rugged terrain and give a glimpse into the lava tubes that lie beneath the surface—remnants of violent eruptions from the nearby Medicine Lake Volcano.
