Changing terms reflect cultural contradictions comprising an archive of visual practices that spans over 50 years. Art historian and poet Roberto Tejada (University of Houston) looks closely at an intergenerational cross section of artists and their work and begins to compare narratives and geographical particulars, encouraging a meta-historical view.
