More than 60% of Latino Texans now have an unfavorable view of President Trump, according to Texas Politics Project polling.

Sam González Kelly of the Houston Chronicle says that marks a significant shift from 2024, when a majority of Texas Latino voters supported Trump.

The change could have implications for Texas Republicans, particularly in South Texas, where recent redistricting efforts have counted on continued support from Latino voters.
