The main highlight of the 2021 Azerbaijan Grand Prix happened at the end of lap 46, championship contender Max Verstappen has crashed due to a puncture on the left rear tyre at main straight, scattering debris on the road - the race was red-flagged 2 laps later.

The race will restart with Verstappen's teammate Sergio Pérez and the defending 2020 world champion Lewis Hamilton on front row and the rest is history.
