Join onboard with Oliver Bearman's Haas VF-25 for a couple of laps around the Watkins Glen International circuit, former home of the United States Grand Prix.
The New Yorker race track is currently used at IMSA, GT World Challenge America, NASCAR Cup Series (Grand National), the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series (feeder National Series), the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, and ARCA Menards Series. Also, it was a venue of the Circus for the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix in 1961 until in 1975 when was replace in 1976 by Long Beach, but in the calendar was still there as the United States Grand Prix East until the last F1 race in 1980. It was planned for the 1981 calendar too, but it was cancelled for economic reasons.
The layout on this video it's used since 1975 when they added a fast double chicane called the "Inner Loop", located shortly in the end of the Back Straight and shortly before the fast Outer Loop corner, after raising safety concerns when the Grand Prix cars are evolving quickly in terms of speed and nasty crashes happened, especially in 1973 when François Cevert lost his life after an high speed crash during the Saturday morning qualifying session.
