You may have seen several awkward live streams on my site recently. I'm currently exploring how best to go forward with live streaming. I settled on an RX0 as I've never thought much of GoPro Heros. I had heard RX0's had poor low light performance but I thought this turned out rather nice. It was shot in 24p at 1/50 SS in S-Log 2 and hastily (and novice-ly) graded in FCP X. I also did apply noise reduction, but I think the result is vastly superior to anything a GoPro would produce (which would be HEAVILY digitally processed in-camera before it even gets to a computer, like GoPros do and which I conspiracy-theorize is the reason for their frequent crashes and freeze). Any way, I'm still sorting out issues related to the live stream itself, but I think I'm happy with the RX0 for those purposes. I understand it has no stabilization, but I don't think I'll be performing any extreme-bro activities with it either.
