Please note, if you visit, the canyon will not look like this to your naked eye. The colors are far more muted. In order to achieve this effect, you need to understand your camera's settings, especially white balance, when shooting photos and videos. That is how you will get that coffee table book look. :)
The canyon was crawling with tourists during the day, so I highly advise scheduling the first tour available at 8-ish am. I went with Dixie Ellis, and paid extra for the photography tour, which is probably the best value at the first tour of the day, because it was still difficult to get good pictures with so many people in there mid-day.
