sooo...hi!

idk what to say about this - it came out of nowhere and it was a mammoth. something-something, women being denied autonomy and rest even after death, violence done to them between their first breath and their last and beyond. women denied agency and ownership over their own bodies and selves, denied graves and peace and privacy. beauty as a vehicle, an excuse for violence; beauty as public property. it's sickening to read stories like those of catherine de valois or evelyn mchale, and there are countless others throughout history.
