This was my last trip to Family Video at 930 Goshen Road, Fort Wayne, IN.
It was announced on January 7, 2021, that the store would be closing and liquidation had begun.
The location opened in 2003. This was a year before Redbox came out and 4 years before Netflix began streaming in 2007 and a flurry of other online subscription services began after that.
This is the last video rental store that was in Fort Wayne and will be closing for good any time now.
