Always wanted to beat this level, but I was kinda scared of it. I figured since I literally just did the other two Vortex levels back to back, I might as well finally beat this since its the last piece of the puzzle and it can't be that hard. I liked it a lot! I think the gameplay is really fun to learn and get good at, and super satisfying to finish off. The predrop is really short and gets so consistent that you kinda forget it's even there after a while, and the one other thing that was bugging me was the drop transition. It fades to black, which I don't love. I don't think the fade was necessary, and I think they either should have made the click auto or just removed the fade transition. Not a huge deal because like I said at the end of the video, that also got pretty consistent towards the end. As for deco, it's also really good! I'm a huge fan of the styles presented in this level, and while I don't love the second half of the wave as much as the first, I think the style of the ending also makes up for that. Overall, I'd totally recommend this level. It's way harder than the other two vortex levels individually, but I think it has better balancing than the other two.

holy FUCK this level is hard idk if im coping but this may be underrated i feel like i struggled a lot more with this than eternal moment which is right above it. eternal moment is also pretty silent but this level is a different beast man i havent gotten touched this hard by a level since ive been back.
edge of the world is honestly a stellar level. the predrop is short and easy, the ending is short and easy (excuse the death) and the entire drop section is a blast with great music and pretty neat deco. its super fun to learn and master, and its hard to even call the hard clicks chokepoints because everything is silent in this level anyway. i used to think the wave at 20% was the hardest part because i just kept dying but at like 6K attempts when i figured out that there actually is a way to stop dying there, i stopped dying there. its definitely one part thats noticeably harder than the rest, the part at 56%. but i dont mind that because that part not only has crazy aura but the most intense and energetic part of the song. this level is so consistent all the way through like at the end i was getting to 50 like every 3 attempts and id usually throw to anything and everything which is why my enjoyment rating is so low. i genuinely got so unlucky on this but i know that 90% of my deaths past like 65 were just me being special i dont blame the level for my experience but im not gonna lie about how much i hated playing at the end. its brought up by the fact that being consistent at this level is so damn satisfying so i cant justify having a 0 enjoyment even though it was some of the worst feelings ive had while playing extremes around this difficulty.

acrozis is a remake of acropolis as an easy extreme, and i think it does its job really well. it was more fun for me than acropolis but stays pretty faithful to the kind of gameplay that it offered. im not sure if theres a proper encouraged path through the last wave that isnt just spamming through it but im not gonna hold that against the level since i didnt really try to find one because i didnt feel like putting in that much effort. acropolis styled levels dont appeal to me very much and while i liked this a good amount more than acropolis its definitely not for me. pretty solid level though theres nothing really bad i can say about it.
the way i died at 96% on both levels is insanely funny

This run was crazy! I didnt intend to do this deathless, because if I did I would have just ran hardcore mode, which would have saved hella time considering hardcore mode gets rid of the collectible requirements that take up a decent amount of time at the beginning of the run. I might decide to run hardcore mode now, since I just accidentally did it.

Explanation of all my splits on LiveSplit:
The timer automatically starts as soon as I enter a level, and automatically splits as soon as I complete a level, which makes it easy to keep it consistent.
Telescope: Looking in the telescope grants you one of three rainbow coins you need to not activate hardcore mode, so I chose the telescope as my first split. As soon as I trigger the telescope cutscene, this split ends.
Triforce: The second portal deactivates itself and the power to reactivate it is split into three shards, which shape a Triforce when joined together. As soon as I collect the last of the three pieces, this split ends.
Post portals: Theres a cutscene right after you walk through the last portal which is when the nightmares start showing up so honestly Im probably just gonna rename this split to Nightmares. Anyway, as soon as I walk through the portal and trigger the cutscene, this split ends.
Checkpoint: Once I hit the checkpoint in the middle of the nightmares section, this split ends.
Desert Entrance: As soon as my cube goes completely off screen when entering the Desert Mountains, this split ends.
Torres: Crossing through Desert Mountains for about 30 seconds leads to finding Torres. Once my movement is stopped by the Torres cutscene, this split ends.
Underground Tower Entrance: When entering the Underground Tower, theres a shader effect that plays as the cube disappears. As soon as the effect is on screen, this split ends.
Key: As soon as I grab the key at the bottom of the Underground Tower, this split ends.
Underground Tower Exit: As soon as the countdown timer turns green signaling the end of the section, this split ends.
Mountain Tower Entrance: This split uses the song and flash to color as the splitting point. So once the screen flashes bright with the song, this split ends.
Mountain Tower Checkpoint: Once I hit the only checkpoint in the Mountain Tower, this split ends.
Mountain Tower Exit: Once my movement gets stopped by triggering the end of the section, this split ends.
Lord of Darkness: This is basically my one split for the entire Dark Side of the Moon section. Once Im done spamming through the Lord of Darknesss dialogue, this run ends.
The ending credits and epilogue come together for a combined total of 1:52, so the Credits split is just Lord of Darkness time +1:52. The Towerverse in 12:32.925 [DEATHLESS]](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/Ed6iDyboPzU/mqdefault.jpg)
