toshdeluxe is my least favorite hacker but im curious to know what you guys think?
anyway devil vortex BLOWS obviously its like almost half decent gameplay but riddled with some really ass chokepoints. first theres the "break" part which is harder than the stuff before it two times in a row because its just frame timings with a spam that i honestly shouldnt have died at as much as i did. then we have the next part which i have so many words to say about this part but none of them are youtube friendly. the mini wave is absolutely ridiculous for this tier of difficulty. there is NOTHING (at least that ive played) in any level in this range that is as hard as this fuckass wave. i wont lie it is a little bit fun and its kinda satisfying but having something this hard basically at the end is crazy. when you die to it its only partially your fault maybe next time dont hack a verification have you ever thought about that? the swing copter isn't like terribly hard but it is pretty chokeable because you're just thinking about the wave at the end so its really annoying to die to it knowing you had a 15% chance at beating the level if you passed it but you just pissed it away and now you have to do all that bullshit before it again. and do i really need to say anything about the last wave not only is the transition into it inconsistent because it depends entirely on how you do the final swing copter click but theres just deadass a 2 frame right after that. to put this in perspective, there's also a 2 frame at the end of kocmoc and it feels out of place even in that hard ass impossible ass level which is currently at 32 on the list. devil vortex is at 435 so in what world is it acceptable to have a 2 frame at the end of this hoe ass level? i was lucky enough to fluke it twice, i have no idea how that happened but ill take it. i was dying to everything else seemingly more than i should have so a fluke on the shittest click of the level is welcome

paroxysm is another level thats carried by a couple weird clicks. the base gameplay isnt bad, its decently fun once you get the hang of it, but with how all over the place this level's balancing is i cannot recommend it. the first cube is hard until you realize you're not supposed to hold at 4% you're instead supposed to jump out of the upside down pillar and then *land* and then click again. of course you still need to jump really soon after landing, but if you hold it then your jump height will make the next 2 clicks significantly harder. i spent 80% of my time from 0 holding that shit and it made it so much worse but as soon as i remembered how jump height works i never died to it again. other than that, the spider has 2 ass clicks but if you really get it in your head to click a decent bit later than it looks, that also against all odds gets pretty consistent. so then you have the ship which is even easier than the spider right up until the end of it where you have to do that fuckass swoop down into the teleporter that you have to get JUST the right angle on otherwise you'll come out of it so fucking high you'll already be dead or so fucking low you have a 1% chance of surviving. then the transition into the wave unfortunately is pretty ass like mix come on i know you died to that bro why would you not fix that its actually so infuriating to pass the ship swoop and then die anyway before you can even get a chance at the wave because you hit the green orb slightly early or slightly late and then you either didnt hit the yellow portal or you ONLY hit the yellow portal so you just fly up into space and you're dead before you can react. then the wave is chill the last two clicks of it are kinda tough but not offensive. this is where the level starts to gain some difficulty. theres two insane cube clicks after the wave you can just tell which ones they are bro you gotta hit a yellow orb late as fuck between i spike and a dragon i feel like those are insane clicks to put in this cube when the rest of it kinda plays itself. okay the ball we've finally arrived at a section that stays difficult the whole way through. no complaints, its harder than everything else so far but it feels more consistent cause the other stuff is literally just random chokepoints.the ufo has entirely auto clicks and then the dash orb release of doom and despair that i thankfully only died to once. and then theres a grand total of one more thing you can die to in the whole rest of the level and its that FUCKASS robot click at 77 that is a CRAZY click to have this late in a level it feels so luck based. the point is this level might be ass but all it really needs is proper balancing. anoxysm got it right with the same verifier so what happened here lol

![Edge of the World 100% (fluke from 96%)
holy FUCK this level is hard idk if im coping but this may be underrated i feel like i struggled a lot more with this than eternal moment which is right above it. eternal moment is also pretty silent but this level is a different beast man i havent gotten touched this hard by a level since ive been back.
edge of the world is honestly a stellar level. the predrop is short and easy, the ending is short and easy (excuse the death) and the entire drop section is a blast with great music and pretty neat deco. its super fun to learn and master, and its hard to even call the hard clicks chokepoints because everything is silent in this level anyway. i used to think the wave at 20% was the hardest part because i just kept dying but at like 6K attempts when i figured out that there actually is a way to stop dying there, i stopped dying there. its definitely one part thats noticeably harder than the rest, the part at 56%. but i dont mind that because that part not only has crazy aura but the most intense and energetic part of the song. this level is so consistent all the way through like at the end i was getting to 50 like every 3 attempts and id usually throw to anything and everything which is why my enjoyment rating is so low. i genuinely got so unlucky on this but i know that 90% of my deaths past like 65 were just me being special i dont blame the level for my experience but im not gonna lie about how much i hated playing at the end. its brought up by the fact that being consistent at this level is so damn satisfying so i cant justify having a 0 enjoyment even though it was some of the worst feelings ive had while playing extremes around this difficulty.

acrozis is a remake of acropolis as an easy extreme, and i think it does its job really well. it was more fun for me than acropolis but stays pretty faithful to the kind of gameplay that it offered. im not sure if theres a proper encouraged path through the last wave that isnt just spamming through it but im not gonna hold that against the level since i didnt really try to find one because i didnt feel like putting in that much effort. acropolis styled levels dont appeal to me very much and while i liked this a good amount more than acropolis its definitely not for me. pretty solid level though theres nothing really bad i can say about it.
the way i died at 96% on both levels is insanely funny

![The Towerverse in 12:32.925 [DEATHLESS]
This run was crazy! I didnt intend to do this deathless, because if I did I would have just ran hardcore mode, which would have saved hella time considering hardcore mode gets rid of the collectible requirements that take up a decent amount of time at the beginning of the run. I might decide to run hardcore mode now, since I just accidentally did it.

Explanation of all my splits on LiveSplit:
The timer automatically starts as soon as I enter a level, and automatically splits as soon as I complete a level, which makes it easy to keep it consistent.
Telescope: Looking in the telescope grants you one of three rainbow coins you need to not activate hardcore mode, so I chose the telescope as my first split. As soon as I trigger the telescope cutscene, this split ends.
Triforce: The second portal deactivates itself and the power to reactivate it is split into three shards, which shape a Triforce when joined together. As soon as I collect the last of the three pieces, this split ends.
Post portals: Theres a cutscene right after you walk through the last portal which is when the nightmares start showing up so honestly Im probably just gonna rename this split to Nightmares. Anyway, as soon as I walk through the portal and trigger the cutscene, this split ends.
Checkpoint: Once I hit the checkpoint in the middle of the nightmares section, this split ends.
Desert Entrance: As soon as my cube goes completely off screen when entering the Desert Mountains, this split ends.
Torres: Crossing through Desert Mountains for about 30 seconds leads to finding Torres. Once my movement is stopped by the Torres cutscene, this split ends.
Underground Tower Entrance: When entering the Underground Tower, theres a shader effect that plays as the cube disappears. As soon as the effect is on screen, this split ends.
Key: As soon as I grab the key at the bottom of the Underground Tower, this split ends.
Underground Tower Exit: As soon as the countdown timer turns green signaling the end of the section, this split ends.
Mountain Tower Entrance: This split uses the song and flash to color as the splitting point. So once the screen flashes bright with the song, this split ends.
Mountain Tower Checkpoint: Once I hit the only checkpoint in the Mountain Tower, this split ends.
Mountain Tower Exit: Once my movement gets stopped by triggering the end of the section, this split ends.
Lord of Darkness: This is basically my one split for the entire Dark Side of the Moon section. Once Im done spamming through the Lord of Darknesss dialogue, this run ends.
The ending credits and epilogue come together for a combined total of 1:52, so the Credits split is just Lord of Darkness time +1:52. The Towerverse in 12:32.925 [DEATHLESS]](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/Ed6iDyboPzU/mqdefault.jpg)

![Twisted Titanium 100%! [First Victor?] and wcropolix LOL
i randomly opened my youtube homepage and saw that hybrid uploaded the twisted titanium showcase like 15 minutes ago and i was like oh shit this levels finally out and it looked way cooler than i remembered so i played it and decided that i might wanna beat it. about 3 hours later here we are, and this level is an absolute banger. the deco is very well made and super intense to reflect the atmosphere of the song and the gameplay is also really fun. the predrop is really short and sweet (and almost too easy) which i like, and the drop seems to be balanced pretty well. i dont have a whole lot to say about this level, its just kinda peak. lower enjoyment score than 10 because i felt like i was getting really unlucky up until the point where i fluked the entire ending so idk lmao. kinda hope i am actually first victor because somehow in all my 202 extremes ive never been first victor of anything once except quarantine which never got rated and was on 480fps back in 2.1 so it doesnt really count

now wcropolix on the other hand is absolute fucking garbage its carried by like 4 different bad transitions which are all in the second half of the level. its your average 2.0 slop gameplay but everyone probably knows that already. its really cool to finally see this level rated after 9 entire years. its obviously not rate worthy by todays standards but it deserved the rate for the time it came out, even if the gameplay was hot ass
