Fiber lasers are perfect to mark different metals such as aluminum. They can be marked on the fly during the extrusion process.

In this video, you can see Laserax's LXQ 3D marking barcodes, 2d QR Codes and plain text on an aluminum extrusion.

The marked surface can be flat, inclined or curved. Just as long as they are located within a tolerance envelope of +/- 70 mm.
