Sheriff Luna will showcase new fire bags purchased through generous donations from the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Foundation and Gordon Philanthropies. The support from these organizations has enabled the Department to provide personnel with specialized equipment designed to help them operate safely and effectively in challenging wildland fire environments. Multiple fire bags have already been distributed to several patrol stations that are in fire prone areas throughout the county.
Malibu Lost Hills personnel will discuss how they used the fire bags and equipment in the Palisades Fire.
