I think I was critical at that time, wanting Larry to play more fancifully, but this is his style. I just came across this old clip and wondered why I didn't put it up earlier.

What Mikey said makes sense, that each yidaki player has his own individual style, and I guess now that to ask someone to play according to what is the 'ideal' in my head isn't fair. It'll be like asking Ray Charles to sing like Marvin Gaye.

Anyway I love it now! :-)
