This drone footage features a relatively large spinner shark hunting among a school of menhaden aka bunker fish. Measuring approximately 8.5ft long, it is the largest spinner shark I have spotted yet this season. The conditions could not have been more perfect for filming with a light SSW wind, bright sun and calm waters. This shark and school was spotted approximately 550ft off the coast of Little Plains Beach, Southampton, NY at 5:03pm 7/16/25.
