This video uses small models to compare the movements associated with rotational slides (slumps) and translational slides. These movements are difficult to film, so the focus is not the best, but hopefully the idea is communicated. The model setup is tapped to initiate the slides, so some vibration is apparent as movement starts during each experiment.
