That’s because the atmosphere of Venus is so thick and dense that it blocks out all visible light. Instead, sunlight gets scattered, creating a dim, diffused illumination at ground level. But that doesn't make Venus a cold world. Quite the opposite, it is the hottest planet in our solar system, with surface temperatures averaging around 475°C. Also, the thick atmosphere ensures that heat is evenly distributed. Hence, there's almost no temperature variation between the day and night sides. The planet’s slow rotation, with a day longer than a year, blends day and night into perpetual twilight, with no clear distinction between day and night in terms of sunlight. It's a world that defies comparison within our solar system.
