We left the South Haven MI harbor late in the afternoon to take advantage of the very fresh south wind that had developed. Unfortunately clusters of small thunderstorms had also developed. Thinking we could avoid them, we went out anyway. Upshot: it was a great ride, lots of good lightning shots and we made it back but... we got trapped in heavy squall waiting for the bridge to open and almost rammed a floating restaurant. Oh the look on their faces :-)
