Very short time lapse video looking WSW in Midland MI from 00:02 to 00:14 on May 28, 2017 of this lower latitude "proton arc or aurora", tentatively re-named Steve by the aurora chasing community (because it is not a proton aurora). The arc extended horizon to horizon passing just south of the zenith. A similar previous event comprised a 25 km wide ribbon of 3000 ˚C gas moving westward at 6 km/sec.
