ZGameEditor has a bunch of effects that can be combined to create some crazy glitch effects. Maybe the most obvious is RGB Shift. But when you combine that with a little displacement and automate the direction of the RGB shift so it moves in a circle, it can make a photo look like it's moving. Add in some moving lines with Youlean Background MDL and use that to displace the photo too, makes for a glitched out mess.
This template applies those ideas to some incredible robotic artwork by @Comfreak at Pixabay. More details and credits below.
That glitched beat is "Lake George" by William Rosati. It's available freely through YouTube Audio Library.
To use the template:
- Replace music.mp3 with your own music.
- Optionally replace bg.jpg with your own photo, works with any jpg image.
- Load up the template in FLStudio.
- Click Export Video.
