Lake Daylesford in 1975 - family picnic on Boxing Day

Enjoy this heart-warming and nostalgic trip when our family visited Lakes Daylesford on Boxing Day of 1975 for a post Christmas barbeque and picnic.

My father had a Super 8 film camera and made this film of our daytrip to Lake Daylesford. I had the film transferred to digital format and after some editing uploaded it to YouTube. Enjoy.

Daylesford is a spa town located in the foothills of the Great Dividing Range, within the Shire of Hepburn, Victoria, Australia, approximately 108 kilometres north-west of Melbourne.

Lake Daylesford is a serene place to relax and enjoy nature. For something more active, take a walk around the lake or along the paths, go for a swim, or take out a paddleboat. Afterwards enjoy a picnic or barbecue.
