The bus trip starts from Shinjuku in the heart of Tokyo and takes about 90 minutes.
Get the bus from Shinjuku Expressway Bus Terminal to view Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchico. Shinjuku Expressway Bus Terminal is a major bus terminal located at Shinjuku Station South Exit.
Lake Kawaguchiko is the most easily accessible of the Fuji Five Lakes with train and direct bus connections to Tokyo. Great views of Mount Fuji is located around the lake's eastern end and on top of nearby Mt Kachikachi.
