Just before noon on April 30, 2024, LAFD responded to the intersection of Exposition Boulevard and Bill Robertson Lane for a collision between a Metro Rail train and USC Transportation shuttle bus. In close coordination with local hospitals, LAPD, MTA, and USC, firefighters and paramedics evaluated and treated at least 55 people as a result of the train/bus collision. Totals: 2 were transported in serious condition. 16 were transported in fair condition. At least 37 were treated and released on scene. No entrapment. No children or juveniles transported. Unknown occupations/affiliations of patients.
