So, I saw Top Gun Maverick a few days after it came out, and I've gotta admit, it is one of the best movies I've seen recently. During the end credits, I heard this amazing song being sung by who I assumed at the time to be Lady Gaga. I immediately knew I needed to cover it. It rings the same sentiment as "Lean On Me" by Bill Withers which I covered in June of 2020. Anyway, the more I listened, the more this song came to life - giving a message that so many need today. "It's okay to be not okay - I'm here. Hold My Hand. Let's cry together." Mourning with those who mourn, and crying with those who cry is a simple action that could literally save a life - and the difference between having 1 person there, and having nobody is as big as life itself. Such a simple song with such a powerful message.

After creating a metal version of Facts and The Machine, I saw Tom MacDonalds new video for Me Vs You and it spoke to me on a deep level - even on a spiritual level. The only way this people can be taken down is through division - and thats exactly what I see happening. So, a friend of mine recommended that I do Duran Duran, and when she recommended that, my mind immediately went to Ordinary World, which is probably my favorite of theirs, so I dove in! Almost immediately after beginning I began to see why Duran Duran is such a great band. This was probably in my top-5 most difficult songs Ive ever covered. And then about half-way through my friend Joseph Child came into one of my live-streams and heard what I was up to. He immediately wanted to do a guitar solo, so I said Lets go, man! Get on it! - and he did! He didnt send me any video, though, but thats Joseph on the lead guitar parts.
