In the eighties, I remember hearing and listening to Bette Midler's version of Julie Gold's "From a Distance", and I really liked the message. A lot. When a friend of mine suggested I do a cover, it seemed like a really good fit. Today the world needs messages of unity and love. I honestly believe that true caring and love is the only thing that can bring this world back together.
