I’m sorry. Like… the effects are okay, but the rest is … like meh.
So, let’s look at the process of making:
- Me listening to the song for the first time; »omfg, that inspires me more for kfp1 than kfp2 and I never thought that would ever happen« [seriously, I think I won’t pass a round, not because of stress or too less time, but just because I can’t edit kfp1 that good xD I actually can’t edit with kfp in general that easy, but meh]
- Me while starting; »I’m going to focus on Po for the first time in forever« [fuck you, Tigress-fangirl-me, fuck you]
… Well, you see what happened. I realized the song fits Tai Lung more at some points, so I wanted to focus on him and Po. Suddenly Shifu was the topic and suddenly I WAS EDITING TIGRESS AGAIN T.T [fuck you, Tigress-fangirl-me, fuck you]
And then I switched to Po and Shifu and then to some Oogway stuff.
Puh. I actually don't even know myself what happened there xD
Btw, the voice-overs are crap, but I felt like this song needed some xD
While editing, I realized I have no reason to say 2nd movie is better. It’s actually worse at some points. But I still like the 2nd more, personally. But without the first the second wouldn’t work. I’d actually think I wouldn’t love kfp2 as much as I do, if kfp1 never existed. Well, it would be strange though to have a movie called »2«, if there was no first movie, but you know what I mean.

And I realized how much looking forward I am to Oogway’s come-back in kfp3! Like, Oogway has way too less development! He’s an awesome character, we don’t know anything about actually! And I’m curious HOW he will come back. I guess it will be some mind-connecting thing, or he’ll just go through the line between demon/after world and real world. I don’t know, but hey, we’ll see.

As for the marks on FULL MEP and SUB: WAIT FOR IT HAHA. I gotta find a smarter way to do this bc youtube wont let me do more than 20 seconds of outro + it can only start in the last 20 seconds. BLEGH.
ANYWAY. Another part! This one had a color scheme and I actually really struggled with it bc if I put a coloring on the mep part, itd false the colors of course. So I had to dance around that by adding a coloring to each clip and yeahhhh.
Im also not really proud of this part, but EHHH?? Its wakfu. Wakfu is bae, wakfu is life.

So, the tune in this song REALLY reminded me of the Lady Gaga Song that plays in Puss in Boots (Americano) and therefore it reminded me of Kitty and therefore I edited her. I chose the coloring since one year ago, I did a kitty part too!! In july, but close enough! AND it was also a end-part! So its a pretty nice comparison of my editing! I dont see much difference, Id even say lyrics wise the other one is better.

This is my entry for the first day of #NorRayWeek2020!
The prompt is origins and was intended to be used to explain how each of us came to enjoy this dynamic/ship, so heres mine! :3
So, kind of like with Tododeku, i think this really just kind of started by seeing fanart and getting used to it. Both started out kind of being jokingly or like hah okay. I guess I can see it and nowhelpme.
I think this drabble/fic really kind of planted the seeds: https://archiveofourown.org/works/19282192, which is a sort of AU where Ray did have a crush on Norman. Back when I first read it, I didnt really agree with it, but it helped me think of these scenarios in a different, mostly romantic, light. Because goddamn it, Norray has Angst potential. Even more so than NorEmma because well, NorEmma is a thing TvT. At first I kind of shipped it as a one-sided thing because I love pain.
I think the first time I really noticed this re-contextualization is in my get behind this amv and in setting fires it just got even stronger.
And so I began finding them kinda cute, and then I read Smile (https://archiveofourown.org/works/18363830) and ohgodhowdidIenduphere haha.
SO YEAH i had this amv planned and figured I could use it for my Origins since most of why I ship it is in fact just seeing the show in a different light and I tried to portray that here.
Also I hurt myself with Dont try to follow me and I know its not really why Ray is doing it, but come on, the angst potential is unreal AAAAAA.
So yeah. Thats it. Ill probably draw for the rest of NorRay week! (aka Ill probably only do one day, help)
