After multiple months, I manage to find the tape that started this channel, a tape from November 2001 of various material from KTIV. Presented here is a complete KTIV News Channel 4 newscast from 2001. Features a bunch of general, weather conditions, health, and sports headlines, airing alongside their original commercials.
Ripping this tape was a pain. Never once before have I had a tape that has soiled my VCR heads not once, but twice. I had to clean my heads once before ripping this, and another after this (particularly because of the Jay Leno promo at the end of this rip). I have not had this tape soil my VCR anytime before, so seeing it now was kind of worrying. Either way, I'm pretty much done ripping from this tape for now.
