Happy Krampusnacht!

On the 5th December, Krampus, a goat like furred demon, is said (in folklore) to head off around Austria and Bavaria to track down naughty children and punish them


Although initially a European Winter folklore character, the opposite of Santa Claus, Krampus is now internationally known and celebrated in festivals and Film.

Each year, the gothic town of Whitby holds the Krampus Run..... where better for 'The Dark Side of the Moor' to kick-start the Winter season.
