(Re)uploaded in celebration of Fernando Abrantes' 63rd birthday.

This was the last '91 gig in the UK and the last gig with Fernando Abrantes. His last appearance was in a German TV show called "Mensch Meier" in August/September 1991. Afterwards, he left Kraftwerk. There are theories on why he left the band, but most plausible theory is that he was a substitute member.

For this concert being the last one of the UK leg, Kraftwerk played in a dedicated manner. Fritz played drums almost throughout the entire concert for the last time and Fernando's manually played bass disappeared by the next concert in Helsinki where Henning took his place. Florian's solo in Music Non Stop is phenomenal like in Manchester '91. The way he triggered the voice sample with the "machine gun" sounds sounds trapy.

Kraftwerk planned a tour in Canada and in the US in late September/early October 1991, but it was cancelled due to difficulties with transporting the live studio.

This is a home remaster by FUBUKI 3-6-9 aka. CERAMIC PLANT. Sadly, his home remaster got deleted with the termination of his old channel early this year, but I downloaded his home remaster way before then. First, I reuploaded it on the Internet Archive, but now I've decided to reupload it on YouTube. Not only is the audio quality of his remaster spectacular in comparison to the original recording, he also remastered the recording way better than I did back in 2021 when I was a beginner. For this reason, I've reuploaded his remaster in honor of him in regard to his remastering skills.

Additionally, (because I could only save the audio) I recreated the video in his style, so that it comes across as if it is purely his video. I used a different picture however. This one might not be from this concert, but it is a close-up picture of Fernando. This was the last Kraftwerk concert with him and today is his birthday, so this picture fits perfectly.

Like last concert, this was recorded from the mixing desk which is indicated by the seemingly quiet audience and a cassette bootleg that states that this comes from the mixing desk. The taper used different settings for the audio recording device because the recording from last concert is severly distorted on the right channel. The different settings fixed the distortion problem, but high and mid frequencies are suppressed and there's less sound depth.

He, FUBUKI 3-6-9, mitigated these 2 problems by putting EQs and a reverb on the audio and panned it more to the left to increase stereo width. He also heavily compressed the recording to suppress white noise as well as to increase stereo width again by putting more compression on the left channel than on the right channel.

My analysis on how he remastered the audio may not be 100% true, but this is what I could get out by listening closely to his remaster and by looking at the waveform. I was impressed when I first listened to his remaster. It sounds better than all the other recordings from the UK leg.

His remaster has 2 problems however. The audio is panned a bit too much to the left and the compression is too heavy. White noise suppression isn't needed except in Music Non Stop where it is loud and rough, and there are other techniques than compression for increasing stereo width. Heavy compression just ruins the dynamic range which is criticised when it comes to pop music mastering. Quiet sounds aren't quiet anymore and loud sounds aren't as loud as they used to be making the music sound off volume-dynamic-wise.

Otherwise, it's a very good remaster.
