This is my #creepy #music version of the russian folk song #Korobeiniki (which for most non-Russians probably already sounds like a monster from nightmares - it does to me ;) ). Though already popular before that, it became very well known through being used as the #theme for the popular video game #tetris . For this slow #horror music version I've recorded the theme on Feurich 122 piano and added strings recordings from my violin and viola. In short, except for a few minor sound design additions, this music was recorded live and twisted around using all kinds of music effects to create a horror atmosphere.
Important note: As long as it is used as a cover of the public domain song Korobeiniki, this one is royalty free and you're free to use it for your own projects. The copyright for the Tetris theme song is owned by Nintendo, though this is not intended to be a cover of their specific arrangement of this song. Be careful in using this one!
A version with just strings and piano will follow. Though the song is usually played much faster in the end I think playing this slowly really captures how brilliantly addictive and dramatic the melody truly is!
