Korn Issues album but with the SM64 soundfont and with music sheet of the midis.
This was another highly requested album. I was able to find some midis of the songs but for those I had to write from scratch. I was able to find some pretty accurate tabs. Any part I needed to do by ear was very minimal and for all the short interlude songs. I also included vocal tracks for consistency. Many of them I had to guess what the pitch and timing was but honestly I really don't know so I hope its not distracting.
I also realized I forgot to include the comments of those who requested for me to make this video. I will name them here in the description: Brayden Dension, xNuri6, Jinofski, Dasteus, Wolverfucker, kennyy, Potluck5, @esse234. Thank you all for suggesting.
I have to say I am honestly super burned out of doing this soundfont videos. So I'm not thinking of doing any new ones. I was thinking of remastering the Follow the Leader album but I am honestly really feeling over this so I am not not planning on doing it.
In terms of how I like the album, I have to say this album has some great tracks. I really like No Way and Beg for Me those are prob my two favorite tracks (excluding singles). I noticed though there were a decent number of interlude songs. I personally don't know why some artists make them, I guess its to change up the pace right? For me I never really cared for them and in this album their inclusion is fine, some have cool drum beats. But these aren't tracks I am going to put on repeat constantly like I would with some of the other full length tracks. I also like the sort of slogan they used for this album "People have issues, do you?" I think thats so cool.
If I had to rank the first 4 KoRn albums I listened to / made soundfont videos of, I would say self titled is def the best for me. I still have to listen to Follow the Leader more but I def say Issues is either 2nd or 3rd. Life is Peachy def 4th, its not a bad album and it did have some good songs on it. Idk I guess with my rock and metal music I really like the instruments having a lot of prominence and overall a lot of energy. Some rock and metal songs can be somber / emotional and still sound really great so I am not really sure how to describe my taste.
All these albums are great I am still really glad I was able to hear them through these soundfont videos. As I mentioned in the last video I honestly would not have listened to KoRns discography if it was not for the soundfont videos. Simply because I didn't care to hear more from their albums at that time. I heard some of their singles on one of those alt rock radio stations but I never went further than that.
This was fun while it lasted, thank you everyone for your support. I greatly appreciate it. Please enjoy this video.
