Daecheon Range, Republic of Korea. December 13, 2017,
Two R.O.K. Army's newly acquired AH-64E Apache Guardian attack helicopters conduct AIM-92 Stiinger Air-to-Air Missile live-fire test at target drones in Daecheon range.
The targets are the OUTLAW G2 target drones and they were engaged at a distance of 2.5 km away.
South Korea's Apaches can carry up to four Stinger missiles and the missiles have an effective range of up to 6 km.
This is the first live-fire drill for the R.O.K. Apache unit.
