... whoa, i cant believe im in the finals. im really glad i joined this contest - it was a lot of fun and the contestants were all really tough! ;u; my opponent in the finals is SoNinjeXx, and her vid is amazing - go check her out! c;
& there is so much to aang, so much hes been through, that it was REALLY hard trying to fit it all in one video. consequently, i think a lot of it turned out kinda messy. but maybe thats just me. i always think my vids are messy OTL
anyways, i think this quote from tumblr sums it up just right;

&& also, the end is one of my FAVORITE clips of him. its right as he is preparing for the day of black sun and shaves his head with a determined and serious expression that a sheep walks up to him and he is gentle and loving towards it. in addition, because hes holding a staff and is petting a sheep, the viewer gets the image of a shepherd. shepherds are generally classified as gentle, humble, pacifistic, humane people... which is everything that aang is. im not sure if that was added on purpose because it says a lot about his character or if it was meant to be cute and funny. maybe both. either way, i still love it. so thats why its the thumbnail! c:

(( im relating a lot to haru recently, in almost every aspect. ))
ive been seeing a lot of my favorite characters show symptoms of anxiety/depression and it kills me because i know what theyre going through. even if they arent real, it still hurts like hell. but its also a good venting outlet for myself as a real person who goes through/has these things.
anyways... if you havent been following me on tumblr you probably dont know that this season has broken me, haha. i realized the other day that i havent uploaded any serious videos for this season yet and let me tell you guys right now, honey u got a big storm comin because i have so many projects half finished ohmygod
also i got a new laptop and its hella rad but taking time to settle in plus im finishing my senior year online so please dont hurt me if im a little inactive bc im trying l;skdgj;lkgsd
also cries about all of the places i used to dl episodes from being taken down r.i.p.
& soOO OPINIONS TIME. okay so first of all this fandom seems to be absolute shit with characterization and misinterprets everything it pisses me off to no end, ugh.
- - second of all i am a STRONG believer that haruka will not go pro and should not go pro. before this episode even occurred. but now that it has, it should be obvious how haru feels.

for the first round of ivc, i had to use no typography and make a good coloring, as well as only edit a song from one of three artists ((thank god this band was on there praise the lord)).
well, i did one of those right sobs but i think it kinda made my video bland not having any typo ((except i put what it was in the beginning, i hope that doesnt affect my score but i wanted to make sure i had a title in it))
anyways i wanted to edit both of these songs to this episode, but i couldnt do both full, because there werent enough clips.
sooo i used haru waking up as a transition. i hope it didnt disrupt the flow too much! i can assure you, it was much more awkward trying to put the songs together. oh well. //shrugs
im not too happy with the outcome, but i might revisit this project later and add more of the characters and typography.
