... whoa, i can't believe i'm in the finals. i'm really glad i joined this contest - it was a lot of fun and the contestants were all really tough! ;u; my opponent in the finals is SoNinjeXx, and her vid is amazing - go check her out! c;
& there is so much to aang, so much he's been through, that it was REALLY hard trying to fit it all in one video. consequently, i think a lot of it turned out kinda messy. but maybe that's just me. i always think my vids are messy OTL
anyways, i think this quote from tumblr sums it up just right;

&& also, the end is one of my FAVORITE clips of him. it's right as he is preparing for the day of black sun and shaves his head with a determined and serious expression that a sheep walks up to him and he is gentle and loving towards it. in addition, because he's holding a staff and is petting a sheep, the viewer gets the image of a shepherd. shepherds are generally classified as gentle, humble, pacifistic, humane people... which is everything that aang is. i'm not sure if that was added on purpose because it says a lot about his character or if it was meant to be cute and funny. maybe both. either way, i still love it. so that's why it's the thumbnail! c:

(( im relating a lot to haru recently, in almost every aspect. ))
ive been seeing a lot of my favorite characters show symptoms of anxiety/depression and it kills me because i know what theyre going through. even if they arent real, it still hurts like hell. but its also a good venting outlet for myself as a real person who goes through/has these things.

for the first round of ivc, i had to use no typography and make a good coloring, as well as only edit a song from one of three artists ((thank god this band was on there praise the lord)).
well, i did one of those right sobs but i think it kinda made my video bland not having any typo ((except i put what it was in the beginning, i hope that doesnt affect my score but i wanted to make sure i had a title in it))
anyways i wanted to edit both of these songs to this episode, but i couldnt do both full, because there werent enough clips.
sooo i used haru waking up as a transition. i hope it didnt disrupt the flow too much! i can assure you, it was much more awkward trying to put the songs together. oh well. //shrugs
im not too happy with the outcome, but i might revisit this project later and add more of the characters and typography.
